With 2020 behind us and hope ahead, we’re still mentally recovering from a very stressful year that tested the sanity and hope of almost all small business owners. Here we wanted to share some of our favorite Portraiture that we were able to capture! 2020 was a scramble of rescheduling weddings 3 to 4 times while also rescheduling Engagement Sessions, Baptisms, travel, and more while also being simultaneously extremely thankful for our loyal clients (with no one flat out cancelling, rather rescheduling to safer and 2021 times!) and at the same time being scared and very cautious with our KN95 masks on every time we left the house. The last thing in the world we wanted was for a 1 hour photo Session to be the reason ANYONE got sick, so we made sure to do our part to stay home, keep meetings virtual, and wear our KN95s everywhere!
((**Clearly the 2020 was “Roaring” in ways none of us had expected or wanted. We were completely unaware of this when we captured & created this image in the first hours of January 1st, 2020… #oops)).
Thanks so much for looking back on some of our Portraiture with us! Honestly the past 10 to 11 months of the Pandemic have been a bit of a blur as small business owners between the stress, scrambling to help folks figure out what to do, doing our best to explain the laws/ past laws/ potential future laws, etc. while also making sure everyone stays healthy and safe (including us since no one else can run our business for us), so it’s always nice for us to take a moment to breathe and look back on some folks connecting with their loved ones.
In less than 2 weeks we will both be FULLY vaccinated (since we were called upon to take leftover vaccine by those who know our ages & profession), so we feel MUCH more confident that we’ll be able to keep our clients SAFE and we feel much more confident that most of our nation will be safely vaccinated in the coming 4 months. This will thankfully make our clients’ upcoming mid-2021 (those 6 months from late Summer Sept 2021 and beyond!) events, weddings, and everything else much less stressful for they and their loved ones as well! We hope that soon we can all be reunited with our loved ones (including immediate family members who we haven’t seen for over a year!) very safely this Spring or Summer and that we can all celebrate together!
